Hood River County Master Gardeners

OSU Extension Service

The Hood River County Master Gardeners are trained volunteers with the Oregon State University Extension Service who educate, inspire, and support their neighbors in home horticulture and backyard gardening. They run plant clinics, demonstration gardens, and community workshops throughout the Gorge.

Bees and gardens go hand in hand — our members and the Master Gardeners share a passion for healthy, thriving local ecosystems. We often collaborate on pollinator education and planting programs for the Central Columbia Gorge area.

Washington State Beekeepers Association

WASBA — Keeping the Bee in Business Since 1950

The Washington State Beekeepers Association (WASBA) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to educating beekeepers and the public, supporting local beekeeping organizations, and improving relations between beekeepers, government agencies, and agriculture.

Because CGBA serves beekeepers on both sides of the Columbia River, many of our Washington members are also connected to WASBA for state-specific resources, hive registration, and the Washington beekeeper network.
